The outer housing is a hollow tapered elbow with a variety of internal and external features.

• The elbow has overall dimensions of 4 inches long, 1.5 inches high, and 1.2 inches at its widest diameter and 0.8 inches at the smaller outer diameter The weight is about 6 ounces.

• The elbow has three access holes, internal rib and cylinder stiffeners, an internal key and keyway, a stiffening boss on the screw hole, and two holes and three drill points for three screws and one shaft. 

• There is a shallow, decorative channel on each side of the housing.
